| Okay so last night Cara and I ventured to Wausau to see Dustin Diamond (aka Screech from Saved by the Bell) do his stand-up.. An added bonus was that Mark Price (who played Alex's best friend and neighbor on Family Ties) was going to open up for DD. So first off there was like 50 people there. Cara and I sat in the very front row, were were super psyched. So Mark Price came out and he was really funny and he did a really good show. Then There was a short break and the Dustin came out. I'll admit that he was funny and I did laugh, however I didn't laugh as much as I did for Mark Price and Cara and I definatly were grossed out. He talks A LOT about sex (particularly of the anal variety) as well as about other bodily functions. He just always went too far with his jokes. And I'm totally not being prudish...I mean the whole crowd was grossed out. Also he swore A LOT. And everyone knows when you over swear you just look uneducated and vulger, and is totally how it came off. So anyway afterward Mark and Dustin were going to be doing autographs so We were excited about that. Yeah, well too bad Dustin charges per autograph!!!! Now I have gotten quite a few autographs and I have never had to pay. Also he charge per picture-even if it was with your own camera! I mean come on!! We payed each to go to show to begin with and I thought that was just ridiculous. Mark didn't charge and was very nice and willing to have photos with us. After all was said and done Cara and I were glad we went, I mean it WAS Screech and all, but he was kind of a diva. |
